Steven Serneels

Steven Serneels is Executive Board Member of iPropeller. In this capacity, he supports iPropeller’s management with the development of the consultancy business.

Steven has been working in the professional service industry as strategy consultant and executive for nearly 25 years. In 1992, he founded his own advisory company, S&V Management Consultants, specializing in Supply Chain and Operations Strategy. He grew the company to more than 100 contributors, working with senior management of medium and large international companies in Europe and beyond. In 2008, he exited S&V to Mahindra Satyam, an Indian ICT company, staying on as CEO until successfully re-selling the company to PwC in 2011.

In 2011, Steven joined Ashoka Global, Washington DC, USA as a strategic advisor/co-creator for FEC (Full Economic Citizenship), Ashoka’s strategic venture for market-based solutions.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from Ghent University and an MBA from Vlerick Management School.

Steven is regularly invited as conference chairman and keynote speaker at national and international conferences. He is (co-) author of numerous internationally published articles on various topics dealing with the role of business in society, one of them being EVPA’s report  ‘Corporate Social Impact Strategies – New paths for collaborative growth’. He also co-authored Allemaal Sociaal 3.0.

Steven is impact investor and Board Member of SI² Fund. Similarly, he is Board Member of EVPA. He is Chairman of Kampani, a social impact investment fund to unlock the potential of entrepreneurial farming in the South.
